today is my birthday:) my first bday in London:) guess i'll be celebrating my next two bday in london. Actually i didn't really do anything special today, but u know everytime when it's your bday, u just can't stop feeling happy and lucky, that's the feeling i had for most of today..hee..a lucky bday girl..today is just special although it may seem ordinary like any other days. In the morning, I woke up pretty late cos I only have one lecture (which is one hour) at 4pm. And i have completely no mood to study although things are already piling up cos mommy is here and i really want to spend more time with her before she will go back to spore on sat..so i will leave all the studying to sat..i have to! cos my assignment is due on sun:x..we did laundry in the morning..There are washing machines in the laundrette which costs 1.60 pounds per wash..i've kind of stop converting it to Sing cos it's scary...there are also dryers which cost 20 pence per dry since london doesnt have much sun..but my clothes are still damp after 2 rounds of drying in the dryer..pretty sad right..after which, mommy helped me iron my clothes and vacuum my floor..i'll have to do everything myself next time!:( in the afternoon i went for my statistics lecture which is really very boring and the lecturer spent 3/4 of the lecture telling his long story abt statistics..not very useful..after which, mom and i went to china town..we bought lots of food from the supermarket there..they sell a lot of singaporean food, sauces and mixtures..even Magi Mee and Yeos just tea! hee..after which we went for dinner at a chinese restaurant called 翠屯亭（cui dun ting ）the tofu seafood claypot is yummy but the chinese hotplate beef was quite disappointing..but i still enjoyed the dinner..yummy..and i was telling my mom how i used to celebrate my bday every year in a western restaurant but this year in a chinese restaurant in london:) I guess u really start to treasure things more when u don't see them everyday. Well, i'm one year older..this year is going to be special because i will learn to be more independent and really take good care of myself when i'm in London..i believe i will do a good job:) Really thank my dear (who is always the first), Waiyin, Peilin, Zi chao, Yu jie (whom I've nv seen in HC but have become really good friends with when we came to london. She gave me a packet of cashew nut covered with yogurt which is yummy) and Han han (my new Taiwanese friend) and of cos my Mommy, Daddy, lovely grandparents, my aunts and my cousin who wished me happy birthday.
