After dinner, I met up with Xiufang and Shimmie at Covent Gardens...we were there at 7.30pm and all the shops have already closed:(...in the end..we took a little walk to chinatown, soho and Trafalgar's square before going to Shimmie's hostel to watch movie. The movie we watched is called Saving face. It is a show about a young lady who is a lesbian and her mother who loves a man twenty years old younger than she is and who is carrying the child of the man she loves. Both of them do not dare to show their feelings openly and suffer as a result of these. But eventually it was a happy ending as both got to be with the person they love. The actresses and actors are really good and the plot is interesting.
strawbery traffle (one layer of cream, followed by one layer of custard, one layer of sponge cake and one more layer of strawbery jelly and strawberries! = 13.7g of fats divided among the three of us)
nottingham is really one of most beautiful uni in uk..i really love the fresh air, the green grass, the blue sky and the autumn leaves..fallen leaves are really very romantic..but the sad thing is that i had to wake up at 330am..after only 2 hours of sleep..and we got trashed really badly for the netball tournament:s..haha..well we had fun playing and i exercised..yeah:) after which i went to help out at the hwa chong nite stall where we were selling choco-coated peanuts and cornflakes..baked chicken..sausages..fried rice and teh terik..haha..and i kept eating while iwas selling..haha..patronising our stall and the raffles& singsoc stall beside us:)..hee..the choco coated stuff are really yummy...i will make when i go back to singapore hee..after which i went around with some of my rj friends to sell milo and sandwiches along the way to the sports centre..and took lots of pretty photos. At the sports centre i watched the basketball finals together with yanneng..we were talking more than we were watching..haha..and we spent half of the time trying to figure out whether one of the players from ucl was our friend, xinwei who looked different when he was not wearing specz..and i stayed thru the prize presentation and talking to xiufang...felt really proud for her when she got FIRST for squash!..she's as pro as usual..hee..after that we went back to portland building for dinner..and the queue was super long..we were one of the last lucky fews who got the dinner..dinner was great or was it bcos I was too hungry..haha..then we bid goodbye to Nottingham and our friends from other UK colleges and embark on our 3.5 hours bus ride back to London..by the time i got home it was 12.30..super tired:s..and i slept all the way to 10 plus..i wished i had more time to go to the city centre and explore more parts of nottingham..and look at more beautiful things in life:)

The best part was of cos the FIREWORKS! it was the most beautiful and exciting fireworks I've seen in my entire life. It was half an hour long and there were really alot of varieties, like my fav was the one which looked like fireflies flying all over the sky, it really looked very cute!! And there were others like coloured stars dropping from the sky, curly snaky ones, raining gold glitters and lots and lots more...it's really hard to describe in words..haha..after the fireworks, we went to tour the food stalls at the carnival, but didnt buy anything cos it was too crowded. Then, we walked along Albert Bridge to get to the other side of the Thames. Along the way, Jiayun and Shimmie bought piping hot hotdogs that tasted really good! And we took a photo with it..haha..shimmie was as usual very very high and we were entertained by their singings all the way to South Kensington tube. After which, we went to Chinatown for supper. I had this egg and duck crispy noodles and I am really full now. When I came back to hall, it was nearly twelve and I could still see fireworks out of my window..think they were still setting off more fireworks by the Thames..I love Guy Fawks aka Bonfire night!:)
