wow..it's really fast that a week has passed!!...hee..was really happy today when i got my coat from topshop..have been looking so long for a short black coat that's sleek and nice..hee..im so excited when i got it finally at last..although it really cost a bomb!!!..nearly 60 pounds...:S..i promised myself after that that im not going oxford street (equivalent to orchard road in singapore) ever again..except perhaps to buy christmas presents before i go back to singapore..and i really must start and seriously start to be more focused on my work...went for netball training in the morning for nottingham games..it is an annual sports event organised by singsoc of different universities in UK..and it will be held in nottingham..hee..that's another place in uk..yeah..which means i can visit another place in uk..hee..it will be held on 11th nov...oh ya and yesterday nite my neighbour elizabeth cooked for us and we had a mini get-to-know party with the rest of the people on our floor..hee elizabeth was from ghana..but she stayed in new york since she was 16..and now she's doing her masters...the spaghetti she cooked was really delicious..she added basil instead of the usual tomato sauce we add..and carler, one of the other girl on our floor made salad for us..and this is the first time in my life that i tasted beetroot..hee..it's sweet!!..haha.i din know...we had really great dessert..with a large fruit tart, chocolate cake..chocolate cookies and crunchies..hee..and strawberries..yum yum..we chatted all the way from 8 to 10..it was really a great get to know session..and i got to discover a lot of secrets of my neighbours like adam from taiwan used to weigh 100 kg when he was in secondary school...and now he's like 60 plus..wow...and his story about how he doesnt eat for 5 days consecutively every week and only ate during the weekends..so that he can lose 1 kg per week..and it's out of his own will..not under the advice of any doctors wor!!..that requires so much self-control!!..and there's ghiom..hmm dont really know how to spell..from paris who lives on coke..he can just drink coke for lunch!!!..there were so many interesting stuff...haha..and both of them showed us their childhood photos..although they are all much older than me..about 6 years..but we still have a lot of common stuff to talk about..hee and we were talking about ben and jerrys ice-cream too..haha..i like my neighbours:)...
