Sat was Hwa Chong nite!!:) It was really a very very memorable day and evening for me..after four months of preparations...buying and lugging back the styrofoams and the other decor stuff from singapore (finding them desperately at the airport when they were left behind on the taxi in Singapore)..painting..spray-painting..paper macheing..drawing..writing the same words 90 times on the photo-frames...yesterday was finally the day when we saw the results of our hardwork...tada!...here are some of the stuff which we made and hang on the ceiling:)

The evening started with Shimmie singing same side of the moon by corrine may which is our theme for this year's HC nite..I was playing the violin..and I got my fellow violinist Justin from Excess Baggage to help me out:)..and Florrine also helped out by playing the flute:)

Following the speeches by our guest-of-honour and our chairperson Andre..the first course was served..:) It was chicken with parmesan cheese..mashed potato..and some veg..it was quite yummy..or maybe we were too hungry..cos we arrived at the venue at 12pm to put up the decor stuff and do our door gifts without having any proper lunch

The performance was great:) with touching renditions of love songs by Yangwen and Yongbin..talent time..games..SPL play..and touching videos that brought back lots of fond memories in HC..they showed the 30th anniversary video as one of the videos..although i've watched it two times already..it is still very very meaningful and touching...and i teared when i was watching it..HC is really really a special place for me..where i've found my closest friends like Shiqi and Angeline whom I believe will be with me throughout my life..where i've found the special someone who shared so many so many memories with me..where i've had my best teachers..like miss wong and miss tan...where I felt most at home besides my own family..i really really love HC:) We had song singing sessions and mass dance after the programmes..and although i forgot most of the dance..we just followed andre and jieying and it was so so so fun!!..and I could never have enough of the songs..they will be my fav always:) Of cos..any event is incomplete without photos..below are the photos taken with my fellow Hwa Chongians:)
